His chief passion is the intersection of race, faith, and economics, and his research and work are focused on solutions for individuals, families, and communities caught in the vicious cycle of generational poverty.

He is a Founding Partner of Brown Venture Group, the first Black-owned Venture Capital firm in the State of Minnesota, and is involved in several other impact businesses.

His first book, Omowale: One Man’s Justice Journey is available on Amazon.
