Kingsley Moghalu was Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria from 2009 to 2014, and subsequently Professor of Practice in International Business and Public Policy at The Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy, Tufts University in Massachusetts, USA. He is presently Chairman of the Board of Directors and Advisory Board of Africa Private Sector Summit LBG, and CEO of the Washington DC-based consulting firm Sogato Strategies LLC. Kingsley also is a member of the Advisory Council of the Official Monetary and Financial Institutions Forum (OMFIF), an independent network of global asset management firms, sovereign wealth and pension funds headquartered in London, UK and with combined assets of $43 trillion. He previously worked for the United Nations for 17 years in legal affairs, strategic planning, and external affairs leadership roles at duty stations in New York, Cambodia, Croatia, Tanzania/Rwanda, and Switzerland.

  • Led campaign to mobilize African Heads of State and Government to adopt the Charter on a Private Sector Bill of Rights (PSBor) for an Enabling Business Environment in Africa (ongoing)
  • As a presidential candidate in Nigeria’s 2019 elections, created a shift in the country’s political narrative towards towards leadership and political reform (subsequently resigned completely from partisan politics).
  • Led successful implementation of banking sector reforms that stabilized the Nigerian banking sector after the global financial crisis.
